-People drilled holes into their skulls, to allow the disease to escape.
-People wore necklaces made of herbs, to drive the disease away.
-People whipped themselves, they believed punishing themselves would get rid of the disease.
State one consequence of the Black Death.
-People stopped taking part in communal activities such as church.
-So many people died that it left towns and villages deserted.
-Peasants that survived were able to push for higher wages, as there was so few of them (Peasants Revolt, 1381).
State one symptom of the black death.
-Fever and chills.
-Swelling under the body (buboes).
