What is the North south divide?
The uk is split into the north and south where the south is rich and the north is poor causing inequality which makes life expectancy drop further North
What are the 5 stages of the DTM?
Stage 1- high birth rate/ high death rate (no healthcare lots of diseases)
Stage 2-death rate falls/ birth rate remain (medicine gets better less diseases)
Stage 3-death rate remains/ birth rate falls (woman gain rights and go to university and get jobs so less become pregnant)
Stage 5- death rate is higher than birth rate/ population falls (lifestyle kills us)

Land previously used for industry which has fallen into decay

Land and buildings that have fallen into disuse
