A
move thru sodium channels and accumulates.
Inhibits inositol pathway, depleting IP3 and DAG
can interfere w kinase too. Inhibits GSK3

A
Carbamazepine, valproate and lamotrigine affect NaV channels and prevents action potential generations.
Use dependency- higher firing rates-> more activity
Reduces neuronal excitation
