Sewage and sludge work with fibrous materials keeps the waste constantly aerated

placed in containers then enclosed controlling the environment
Advantages of composting
Decreasing the burden on land fills also alternative to land fills
Disadvantages
some expensive and time consuming. some require large amounts of land, some huge power consumers

Advantages of recycling
Slows consumption of natural resources
works towards elimination of non biodegradable waste
reduces landfill waste
Environmentally awareness
Disadvantages
Facilities cause pollution and high energy use
Not cost-efficient( subsidize)
Percentage end up trashed due to poor quality
Anaerobic Digestion
Contained, closed digestion of wastes such as manure and food ect.. though microbial activity in the absence of oxygen
Completely mixed digestion
low dry content (manure) mixing already digested material with new materials
Plug and flow
used for dry materials and involve passing materials through a long narrow channel
Thermophylic
50-60 large amount of bio gas and short digestion period
Mesophylic
35-40 takes 30-40 days
psychrophylic
Operates at a lower temp 15-25 but much longer
