To Identify The Different Types Of Biomes
What is the Temperate Forest Biome?
The Temperate Forest Biome consists of large amounts of precipitation and humidity and trees that loose there leaves which decreases temperatures and shortens daylight hours in that region.
What is the Taiga Biome?
The taiga biome consists of cone-bearing needle leaved evergreen trees and consists of long and extremely cold Winters and quite a bit of precipitation.
What is the Tundra Biome?
The Tundra Biome is the coldest Biome it is a plain of land that has no trees and doesn’t receive much precipitation.
What is the Steppe Biome?
The Steppe Biome is a dry grassy plain which temperatures average at about ten degrees Celsius.
What is the Savannah Biome?
The Savannah features wide open spaces and consists of dehydrated grass warm temperatures due to the fact that it is located between a tropical rainforest biome and a desert biome.
What is the Sahel Biome?
The Sahel Biome is Tropical it is between the desert and the Savannah it is dry but does get some rainfall and people sometimes live there in the Sahel and raise goats to sell when they are fully grown.
