What is mRNA formed from
Free dna nucleotides in the nucleus
What does mRNA do
Carries a copy of the dna code from the nucleus to. The ribosome to direct the synthesis of protein synthesis
Why does rRNA
Forma part of the ribosome along with proteins
What does tRNA o do
Carries a specific amino acid to the ribosome, folds due to complementary base pairing, has Ann amino acid attachment site and an anti codon
Why do polypeptide chains form
To form the 3 dimensional shape of a protein, held together by hydrogen bonds
What is phenotype determined by
By the proteins produced as a result of gene expression
What are mutations
Changes in the dna which results in no protein being synthesised or an altered one
