Differentiate between pollination and fertilization in angiosperms.
Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma. Fertilization is the fusion of a sperm nucleus with an egg nucleus within the ovule.
Explain the role of hormones in the menstrual cycle.
Hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, and FSH regulate the stages of the menstrual cycle, including follicle development, ovulation, and the preparation of the uterine lining for implantation.
If fertilization were a dance, who would be the partners?
- Fertilization - the process by which male and female gametes unite to form a zygote, leading to the development of a new organism.
If germination were a journey, what would be the destination?
- Germination - the process by which a seed develops into a new plant, typically involving the sprouting of a shoot and root.
If the menstrual cycle were a clock, what would ovulation be?
Menstrual Cycle - the monthly series of changes a woman’s body goes through in preparation for the possibility of pregnancy.
If chromosomes were spices, and variation were a blend of spices, what would it add to life?
Differences in DNA among individuals, which can result in different traits and characteristics being passed from parents to offspring.

Asymptomatic - Showing no symptoms of a disease or condition, which can complicate the diagnosis of infections.
