what is the difference between abiotic and biotic factors?
abiotic is non living factor like temperature whereas biotic is living factors like food
what is an an ecosystem?
the interaction of a community of living organisms with the non living parts of their environment

Moisture level, light intensity, temperature, CO2 level, soil Ph
name biotic factors?
new predators, competition, new pathogens, availability of food
what are the 3 types of adaptations?
structural, behavioral, functional
what do food chains always start with?
producer
what is the name of the first biotic species that eats the producer
primary consumer
what is a quadrat?
a square frame enclosing a known area e.g 1m squared
what are the 3 main greenhouse gases?
carbon dioxide, methane , nitrous oxide
why does deforestation effect the planet?
trees hold carbon dioxide so when cut down it releases all of it into the atmosphere
what is biodiversity
biodiversity is the variety of different species of organisms on earth, or within an ecosystem
why is biodiversity important
it makes sure that ecosystems are stable because different species depend on each other for things
