Test : add Benedict’s reagent and heat the sample in a warter bath at 80 degrees for a few mins
Result : color changes from blue to green / yellow/ orange / mainly a brick red color
Suggest a safety precaution taken when using Biuret reagent to test for proteins
Wear safety googles as Biuret reagent is an irritant
