Formed or shaped within the mold.

A fossil created by a print or impression.
Amber
Hardened tree sap, often a source or insect fossil.

Studying trace fossils, we can learn about how animals lived

An actual preserved body of an animal.
Environmental conditions
A change or disturbance of the environment most often caused by human influences and natural ecological processes
Erosion (takes it)
The process of carrying away rocks
Weathering (breaks it)
A natural process that slowly breaks apart rock
Gravity (drops it)
An invisible force that pulls object toward each other.
