Biography :
The story of a real person ‘ s life written by someone other than that person
Autobiography :
A history of a person ‘s life written by that person.They write their own biography.
Geography :
The study of our physical world and how we interact with it.
Geographer :
A scientist who studies the Earth ‘s physical features and the people,plants and animals that live in different regions
Latitude Lines :
Imaginary lines called parallels that circle the Earth from east to west but measure in degrees how far north or south a place is located on earth from an equator .
Longitude Lines:
Imaginary lines called meridians that run from the North Pole to South Pole that measure in degrees how far east or west a place is located on earth from the prime meridian
Equator :
The imaginary line that is half way between the North Pole and South Pole .It goes East to West and is measured at 0 degrees
Prime Meridian :
The imaginary line that runs North to South and is measured at 0 degrees.
Climate :
The aspects of weather such as temperature ,precipitation,
and wind that are measured over time in an area.
Tributary:
A river or a stream flowing into a larger river or lake.
Gulf:
A part of an ocean or sea that extends into a land.
Peninsula:
A piece of land almost surrounded by water or projecting out into a body of water.
