Integrity
Ensuring that the participant is treated how they are supposed to be, all results are published regardless of direction and personal details are kept private.

Duty-based approach
Focus on ethical and moral rules, following moral guidelines
Consequence based approach
Focus on the outcome of the experiment, using the ends to justify the means and focusing on the best possible outcome
Virtues based approach
Focus on whether the action is morally good or right, does it align with values such as honesty, compassion and fairness
Justice
Ensuring an even distribution of treatment and availability of treatment

Beneficience
Ensuring that benefits are maximised and the benefits outweigh the harm, focusing on doing good for the patient

Non-malificence
Ensuring that the actions will not harm the patient, focus on not causing any harm or negative outcomes for the person

Ensures the consideration of the intrinsic dignity of the person, focusing on their autonomy, consent, rights and culture
