A

the recent increase in electricity and gas prices did not impact the biomass sector and wood

Q

Why don’t we know much about china?

A

great uncertainty surrounding the Chinese pellet market.
The size of the country and the fact that its market mainly comprises of small producers generates difficulties in obtaining accurate statistics.
Ambiguity on the type of pellet that is produced in China (wood pellets or agropellets).
Chinese market appears to be exclusively local (nearly no import or export) which has almost no impact on the global market supply and demand.
