What is the first amendment? Name all freedoms
Freedom of speech, religion, protest peacefully, press and to petiton the govn.
What is the second amendment? What does it mean?
The right to bear arms, right to own guns
What is the third amendment? What does it mean?
No forceful Quartering of soldiers, soldiers cant use your house like what did the british did in the Rev war
What is the fourth amendment? What does it mean?
The right to protect your body, property, and personal effects. The police cant search your house without a warrant, cant search you without reason, etc
What is the Fifth amendment?
The Rights in criminal cases: attornys, public quick trials etc
What is the Sixth Amendment?
Right to a FAIR trial
What is the seventh amendment?
Rights in civil cases (divorce, property, etc)
What is the eigth amendment?
The Right to no excessive bail or fines, no cruel or unsual punishments. Basically we’re not Russia, criminals are humans etc
Ate (eight) your way out of jail
What does the ninth amendment cover?
Rights retained by the people
What does the tenth amendment cover?
State rights
