Fundamentalist Christians: (evangelical methodist Church)
A
- Believe all scripture is written by god and are directly said by God.
→‘All scripture is God-breathed’ - Therefore, they would take all scriptures from the Bible as the objective truth and will not allow other interpretations of it.
- Some of the teachings of the Bible are classified as absolute law, which means that it has to be followed at all times, such as the Ten commandments.
→Because these laws are set down by God, they must be obeyed

Conservative Christians: (roman catholics)
A
- Believe that the scriptures are accurate however were not directly words from God,
→ they were written by men who have been ‘moved by the holy spirit spoke from God’, who have used their own words to express what God has told them.
→ Therefore they would also look to other sources of authority such as conscience or the ordained.

Liberal Christians: (Church of England
A
- Believed that the bible was written with different interpretations by men writing ABOUT God,
→ they believe that there might be nuances or misunderstandings in the words of the Bible and that it should act as a symbolism of God’s word, allowing there to be personal interpretations of the Bible as it is not objectively true or directly from God.
