Oral tradition are stories that had been told over the years, that were carried by mouth for a long time.
Gospel
The gospels are the good news there are four gospels. the stories are on the life death and resurrection of Jesus.
Evangelist/evangelist
A person who seeks to convert others to the Christian Faith mostly by public speaking

Jesusโ teachings, the stories he told us to teach us about the kingdom of God

How God makes himself known to us.
Matthew
Audience- the Jewish Christians
Beginning /Infancy Narrative- The Geneology of jesus. And how he makes it clear that jesus is God.
Sermon on the mount- jesusโ Longest speech, chapters 5,6, and 7
Old Testament references- quotes the OT more than 60 times.
Moses- Jesus is the new Moses, Moses was very well liked.
Nichodemus-would come to see Jesus at night in the dark. Nichodemus came into the light.
Mark
Audience- New and potential Christians
Vision of Christ- did not put events in order?
beggining And End-at the beggining jesus is being baptized and a the end a Roman soldier said that he was the son of God.
Luke
2 Books- Gosple of Luke and Acts of the Apostles
Infancy Narrative- Shows that he stands alongside those who are filed with the HS
John
Characteristics- long SYMBOLIC speeches
Signs- the Miricales of God
Wedding feast at Cana- First Public Mirical (Sign)
2 Books- Book of Signs, and book of glory.
