Here Dhrtarāstra is only talking about in own sons here and excluded the sons of pandava. Here we can see he is deliberately claiming the Kurus and separating the sons of Pandu from the family heritage. This indicated the Dhrtarāstra relationship with his nephews
Why was Dhrtarāstra fearful? (1.1)
He was fearful about the influence of the holy place on the outcome of the battle. This is a place where religious rituals are performed. He knew this would be favourably to the Arjuna and Pandu’s due to them being all virtuous by nature.

The significance in the same way Hanuman fought for Lord Ramacandra. Arjuna is fighting for Krsna, so he is following in the footsteps of Vajrangaji (Hanuman). In terms of the fighting principle, Arjuna is fighting for Krsna. Following the previous fighting acarya hanumanji. Therefore, Arjuna having Hanuman on his flag is like asking Vajrangaji, kindly help me.
