What was the battle of berlin?

A

Soviet forces occupy the city of Berlin. Berlin is ruined. 125,000 german civilians were killed whilst nearly 2 million women were raped.

Define, “rubble women”

A

The women of berlin attempted to clean the “rubble” of the streets of berlin after the war. Many women also turned to prostitution order to support their families

Define, “wolf children”

A

the children of Berlin ran wild as there was no food, education system or stable economy. They wandered like hungry wolves, and many of the children, isolated from humanity, were left to roam through unforgiving forests in order to survive.
