seborrheic keratosis
A
Can arise on any body part but palms and soles
S/S: mostly papular, can be many colors, texture from velvety to verrucous. “Stuck-on quality.” Typically appear after fourth decade of life.
Dx: Clinical. Can pick or scratch to reveal waxy character. Use dermoscopy to look for keratin pseudocysts. If picked they will leave pink moist base with miniminal bleeding.
Tx: cosmetic. Can be removed by curretage, electrodessication and shave removal.
