Tumour which forms due to increased osteoid production leading to lesions in the long bones of body

Children (M:F 2:1)

Nocturnal pain relieved by NSAIDs

Locally aggressive neoplasm formed from neoplastic ovoid mononuclear cells interspaced with large osteoclast-like giant cells

Effect end of long bones (epiphyseal)

Bones pain
Swelling
Restricted joint movement
Pathological fractures

Denosumab
-blocks osteoclast activity to prevent osteolytic part of tumour manifestation
