first when you practive meditation, you get better attentional skills which means you get at finding patterns and behaviors that are not good for you.

second, you get a better awareness of how you are feeling

that awareness helps breaking down the cycle

then finally, you have a more adaptive behavior.

it has been shown over course 12 weeks that mindfulness helps children socially, earn better grades in areas of health or education.

plus we know that in the control group, there is more selfish behaviors.
