- Oral corticosteriods e.g. Prednisolone 50mg for 10/7
- Lubricating eye drops to avoid dry eyes
- Taping of the eye to keep it close

A
Within 72 hours of Sx onset

Bell’s Palsy Sx
A
- mostly Unilateral facial palsy
- Affecting upper/lower parts of face
- Unable to wrinkle forehead
- Hyperacusis
- face drooping

What is Bell’s Palsy?
A
an acute, unilateral facial nerve weakness or paralysis of rapid onset <72hours

Bell’s Prednisolone dosage
A
50mg OD for 10/7

Neuro referral for Bell’s
A
- No improvement after 3 weeks of treatment
- Deterioation of current conditions
