Engine Surge/Compressor Stall Procedure:
8-steps
1 - Collective - Reduce 2 - PSI check for normal indications 3 - ENG ANTI ICE switch - ON 4 - PART SEP switch - ON (if installed) 5 - HEATER switch - ON (if installed) 6 - Collective - increase slowly to desired level 7 - PSI - monitor for normal response 8 - Land as soon as practical
If violent or uncontrollable - AUTOROTATE

What will FADEC do in the event of a Driveshaft Failure
Activate engine overspeed trip system at 118.5% Np causing fuel flow to go to minimum. After initial overspeed, FADEC will adjust fuel flow to maintain engine at 100% Np
B407 Driveshaft Failure Procedure?
1 - Maintain heading & attitude control
2 - Collective - adjust for 85-107% Nr
3 - Cyclic - adjust for autorotational airspeed
4 - Landing - complete autorotational landing
5 - Shutdown engine
NOTE: engine power required for tail rotor

When FADEC is in MAN mode, what power limitations exist?
Takeoff power may not be available. Max continuous power will be available for all ambient conditions
