Activate engine overspeed trip system at 118.5% Np causing fuel flow to go to minimum. After initial overspeed, FADEC will adjust fuel flow to maintain engine at 100% Np

Takeoff power may not be available. Max continuous power will be available for all ambient conditions

1 - Throttle - match bezel to Ng indication

3 - FADEC switch - Depress once (when established)
4 - Land as soon as practical
5 - Normal shutdown if possible
During a FADEC Failure, what will pressing the FADEC MODE switch once do?
- Mute FADEC Fail Audio
- Activate ignition
- Illuminate AUTO RELIGHT message

- Shallow approach.
- During final stages of approach a mild flare should be executed making sure all power to rotor is off.
- Maintain helicopter in slight flare
- Smoothly use collective to execute soft, slightly nose high landing.
- Landing on aft portion of the skids will tend to correct drift.

- Helicopter will yaw left when power is reduced
- Adjust power and airspeed for comfortable yaw
- Establish power on approach with sufficiently low airspeed (zero if necessary) for comfortable sideslip
- As collective is increased for landing, left yaw will reduce
