Eschaological beliefs -
Mu’tazilah, Shi’a, Ash’ari and two quotes
Mu’tazilah - there is nopredestinationbecause of human free will - humans determine what happens in the world rather than Allah.
Shi’a - partial freewill - believe that Allah has complete knowledge of all things, but may change anything at anytime. “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a poeple until they change what is in themselves”
Ash’ari - try to find a middle way between believing in free will and predestination. They believe that Allah always gives us a choice, however He knows what choices we will make. “And for every person We have tied their fate to their neck”
Akhirah
