What should you give yourself when trying to think?
Space and time. E.g. hike, sitting on porch, meditation, shower, driving
Why should you stare at yourself in the mirror?
To see if you like who is staring back at you.
Why should you go big with your goals?
To achieve greatness. Mediocre or plan B promotes less than great.
What does visualizing your future self do?
Shows how much you really want a goal and motivating. E.g. seeing myself as an astronaut will motivate me to work towards the goal of becoming one.
What are the benefits of doing multiple reps of things like speeches and learning?
Allows mind to focus on the complexity of the action instead of just fundamentals. People will notice.
What are the benefits of following up and following through on actions?
Accountability of all participants.
Catch what planning misses.
Shows commitment and interest.
Builds better character.
How to effectively utilize the same time we all are allotted each day?
Prioritize actions.
Even small increments build up.
Why should you tell your story before others?
Others will add sensationalism to the story.
Which customers should you know to sell yourself?
The ones who control your success.
How should you sell your vision to others?
Don’t use future tense like will be. Use present tense.
How do you promote your vision?
By telling others your vision.
What should you let others judge about you?
Let them underestimate you by not correcting them because of your ego.
How should you handle questions about yourself?
Find common ground, rephrase questions, and answer to my favor. Their questions aren’t made to make me look good.
What is my purpose in answering about myself?
Be at a higher level of myself and bring them out of underestimating me with my answers and performance.
How should I tell stories about my mistakes?
Own them and tell the story so others don’t fill in the details that benefit them.
What should I do if I want to complain?
Don’t. Shift gears.
Confront problem.
What does being negative do to you and how to confront it?
Causes paralysis instead be positive and find positives.
What should you do with failure?
Reframe it. Find positives from failure. You tried and learned.
Why should you use measurements on success?
To see the positives of how far you have come even if there is failure.
What should I do if I encounter a status quo?
Go big, don’t hold back even if others are upset.
How to reframe risk?
Ask, “What do I have to lose?” And, “What do I still have if I lose?”
Think of the positives of failure.
Why should I listen to people?
To keep learning.

To learn
