A

A

Gradually expose yourself to feared situation in a way which allows you to control fear at each step

A

Identify feared situation
Breakdown where you are now and where you need to be in manageable steps
Identify and learn to master the situations that cause mild anxiety
Confront fears regularly
Progressively overcome the situations linked with main anxiety

Dealing with a confronter

A

Make sure they know they have your support through recovery
Remind them its temporary, and of other +Ve things in life
Attempt to educate them of their injury and need for rehab= inc trust in your judgement
Have realistic optimism and +ve
Keep goals in mind- encourage them to think about what reinjury could mean/look like
