Who’s that Pokemon?
A dynamic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript project for Pokemon enthusiasts who want to re-experience the classic, “Who’s that Pokemon?”
- Some key highlights of the app are the animations I used in a moving background, incorporating a match history so users can see how well they did in guessing the pokemon, a pokedex so the user can look up pokemon they didn’t know and an ability to change the difficulty!
- I followed web best practices and started with mobile friendly designs
- The process of making the app I used the agile model of devcelopment
- Starting with sketching initial designs in Figma and bringing them into life with code. Making a task list for each major feature in the App. Using Git to have branches for each feature.
Social-Lite
Social-Lite is a full stack web application built with react, node express and postgresql for the database. and its an app for friends who want to share memories and plan out events together.
- Some features of the app I highlight are the posts which users can RSVP to an event or comment on them with timestamps. The login system using JSON web tokens. And the real-time chatroom I incorporated where users can chat using their logged in profile and used technologies like Socketio, react and Node.
- Some struggles I had were incorporating the login system because I had to involve the context API, so that on page render, it will check if there is a user logged in or not, or else they get sent back to the login screen.
