A

PM:

  • Adjust seat position and strap in
  • Obtain ATIS and note on bug card
  • Set QNH and cross-check (+/-30’ of airfield elevation)
  • Obtain clearance and note on bug card

PF:

  • Adjust seat position and strap in
  • Listen to ATIS
  • Set QNH and cross-check (+/-30’ of airfield elevation)
  • Listen to clearance and set squawk code

  • Set ASI and altimeter bugs from performance card - Set FMC up using the laminated card - Emergency briefing and departure briefing - BEFORE START CHECKS TO THE LINE - Confirm, flight deck ready, cabin ready (passengers loaded, doors closed and PA given), ground crew (confirm checks complete) - Obtain ATC clearance for push and start - BEFORE START CHECKS BELOW THE LINE - Tell ground crew you’re ready for push and start, and follow their instructions - Engine start
