Reduce RPMs to clutch ahead Immediately secure engine Possible rig for anchor Check bilge for oil Check line oil for quality and quantity If not correctable do not restart the engine

Reduce RPMs Notify crew Inspect for loss of fluids or obstruction to out drive Verify position Possible rig for anchor Check bilge and engine space for leaks If problem persists, coordinate tow If corrected return to unit

Reduce RPMs to clutch ahead Notify crew Verify position Possible rig anchor Check bilge for fuel Check emergency fuel shutoff valve Check fuel filters Check entire fuel system Check fuel tank Report findings

Inflate PFD Swim clear of boat Nighttime activate strobe Account for all crew Locate EPIRB stay close to boat, if possible climb atop the capsized hull
