What is Paronychia
A bacterial infection on the fingers wall due to an infected hangnail or long time in water.
What is Impetigo?
A bacterial infection of the skin that is highly infectious. Most commonly around mouth area. Form in honeycomb shaped clusters and is due to unsanitary habits.
What is Onychomyosis?
A fungal Infection. Starts at bottom of nail and works its way up to cuticle. Creates a white and green nail bed.
What type of infection is a wart?
Viral.
What’s an example of a Parasitic infection?
Scabies. Show in a grey/purple line in the skin. Skin can also move. Highly infectious.

Covers injury claims by employers. Third parties are not included.
What is public liability?
Is not a legal requirement. Covers claims made by public.
What is the code of conduct?
Prioritising the welfare of clients. Not getting too personal. Not putting other companies in disrepute.
When does risk assessment need to be carried out?
When someone is pregnant, when there is new equipment.

General duties and responsibilities employers have toward public and employees.

1989
What is the electricity at work act?
Ensuring staff know how to use electric equipment.
Must have a safe system in place
Employees must have evidence that everything works and is safe.
Qualified electrician must come 1X a year to make sure eléctrica pass PAC test.
What is PEE act?
Personal protective equipment. Making sure you’re safe whilst wearing correct uniform.
