Q

This light red wine is made by the semi maceration carbonique method, which may be described as whole berry
fermentation in closed vats filled with carbon dioxide gas. This system extracts flavour and colour quickly under
pressure produced by the carbon dioxide given off by the closed fermentation with very little tannin. The wine is virtually a rosé wine with a purple tinge to it. It should be light and fruity, but is usually overpowered by an aroma of banana or pear drops and bubble gum.
