- Condition Lever = FUEL CUTOFF
- Fuel Firewall Valve = CLOSE
- Starter Switch = STARTER ONLY
If Fire Warning Persists: - Fire Extinguisher (if installed) = ACTUATE
Emergency Engine Shutdown on Ground
- Condition Levers = Fuel CUTOFF
- Prop Levers = FEATHER
- Firewall Shutoff Valve = CLOSED
- Master Switch (gang bar) = OFF
Engine Failure During Takeoff
At or Below V1 (80 KIAS) - Takeoff Aborted
- Power Levers = GROUND FINE
- Brakes = AS REQ’D to ACHIEVE STOPPING DISTANCE
- Operative Engine = MAX REVERSE
Engine Failure During Takeoff Roll
At or Above V1 (80 KIAS) - Takeoff Continued
- Power Levers = MAX ALLOWABLE
- Airspeed = MAINTAIN (T/O Speed or Above)
- Landing Gear = UP
- Prop (INOP ENG.) = FEATHER (or verify feathered if autofeather is installed)
- Airspeed (after obstacle clearance altitude is reached) = Vyse (121 KIAS)
Engine Failure In Flight Below Min. Controllable Airspeed (Vmca)
- Power = REDUCE AS REQ’D to MAINTAIN CONTROL
- Nose = LOWER TO ACCELERATE ABOVE Vmca

- Prop = DO NOT FEATHER
- Condition Lever = FUEL CUTOFF
- Conduct Air Start Procedure
Fuel Pressure Low
RED CAUTION
- Standby Pump (Failed Side) = ON
Electrical Smoke or Fire
- Oxygen Mask(s) = DON
- Mask Selector Switch = EMERG POSITION
- Headset(s) = DON, OR AUDIO SPEAKER(S) - ON
- Mic Switch(es) = OXYGEN MASK
Environmental Systems Smoke or Fumes
- Oxygen Mask(s) = DON
- Mask Selector Switch = EMERG POSITION
- Headset(s) = DON, OR AUDIO SPEAKER(S) - ON
- Mic Switch(es) = OXYGEN MASK
Airstair Door/Cargo Door Unlocked
RED CAUTION
If the [DOOR UNLOCKED] illuminates, or if an unlatched airstair door/cargo door is suspected:
- All Occupants = SEATED WITH SEAT BESLTS SECURELY FASTENED
Emergency Descent
- Power Levers = IDLE
- Prop Levers = FULL FOWARD
- Flaps (200 KIAS MAX) = APPROACH
- Landing Gear (181 KIAS MAX) = DOWN
- Airspeed = 181 KIAS MAX
Glide
- Landing Gear = UP
- Flaps = UP
- Props = FEATHERED
- Airspeed = 135 KIAS
Dual Generator Failure
AMGER CAUTION
- Generators = RESET, THEN ON
If either generator will reset: - Operating Generator Loadmeter = DO NOT EXCEED 100% (88% >31,000’)
Unscheduled Electic Elevator Trim
- Airplane Attitude = MAINTAIN USING ELEVATOR CONTROL
- A/P Trim Disconnect Switch = DEPRESS FULLY
(ELEC TRIM OFF - ILLUMINATED)
Unschedule Rudder Boost Activation
- Direction Control - MAINTAIN USING RUDDER PEDALS
- Rudder Boost = OFF
If condition persists: - Rudder Boost Circuit Breaker = PULL
Use of Oxygen
Crew:
1. Oxygen Masks = DON
2. Headset(s) = DON, OR AUDIO SPEAKER(S) ON
3. Mic Switch(es) = OXYGEN MASK
Pressurization Loss
RED CAUTION

- Passenger Manual Drop-Out = PULL ON
PASS OXY ON - ILLUMINATED - Descend = AS REQ’D
High Differential Pressure
Cabin Differential >6.6 PSI
- Bleed-Air Valves = ENVIR OFF
- Oxygen (Crew & PAX) = AS REQ’D
- Descend = AS REQ’D
