What will you do in the event of jamming both SFS nets?

Why are duress words made?
Ensure all personnel authorized unescorted entry into any restricted area has a means of covertly alerting other personnel if they are under duress.
Who makes the duress words and when are they changed?
Made by: 49 SFS/S5XP
Changed: Every 6 months unless compromised
Who will know the duress words?
All personnel working in restricted areas will know the current primary, alternate, and exercise duress words and how to use them.
What are examples of active duress?
Engaging the duress button
Pedal or utilizing the current duress word in normal conversation.
What are examples of passive duress?
Failing to follow standard operating procedures and mis-authentication/authenticating incorrectly
What will you do for duress OUTSIDE a restricted area?
- BDOC will initiate a code-9 and conduct status checks (if SF member is under duress)
- BDOC will brief and dispatch patrols to conduct sector sweeps or dispatch to last known location
- Challenge and place all the individuals involved at a disadvantage.
- Call for backup (if necessary).
- Separate the person who indicated duress from all the other challenged individuals and ascertain why they indicated duress.
- Apprehend the suspect who placed the person under duress.
What will you do for duress INSIDE a restricted area?
- BDOC will initiate a code-9 and conduct status checks (if SF member is under duress).
- Initiate a Helping Hand/Covered Wagon.
- BDOC will brief and dispatch patrols to conduct sector sweeps or dispatch to last known location.
- Challenge and place all the individuals involved at a disadvantage.
- Call for backup (if necessary).
- Separate the person who indicated duress from all the other challenged individuals and ascertain why they indicated duress.
- Apprehend the suspect who placed the person under duress.
- The ESRT will purge the affected area.
- Follow further instructions from the BDOC Controller and Flight Chief/Sergeant until the situation is terminated.

- Exclusive: Main gate & Welcome center
- Proprietary: Sousing area south of Mesquite Road, the West Gate, areas west of Bare Base, and Vandergrift Rd leading to and including the La Luz Gate
When will AFJIS reports be conducted?
All incidents in which SF responds and a crime has occurred or in situations dictated by S3/S3O
Who can authorize searches, seizures, and apprehensions?
Military judges & Qualified commanders
What are the FPCON levels and their definitions?
Normal: This applies at all times as a “general threat” of terrorist attacks, hostile acts, or other security threats always exists in the world.
Alpha: Applies to a “non-specific threat” of a terrorist attack or hostile act directed “against DoD elements and personnel”
Bravo: Applies when an “increased or more predictable threat” of a terrorist attack or hostile act exists and is “directed against DoD elements and personnel”
Charlie: This applies when a terrorist or hostile act “incident occurs within the commander’s area of interest (AOI)”, or intelligence is received indicating “a hostile act” or some form of ‘terrorist action or targeting against DoD elements, personnel, or facilities is likely”.
Delta: This applies when a “terrorist act or a hostile act has occurred” or is anticipated against specific installations or operating areas.
