How to triage burns
T3- less than 12% coverage
T2- 12-25% coverage, electrical or chemical burns
T1 - More than 25% coverage, airway burn symptoms
Symptoms of an internal bleed
•Pale clammy skin
•Fast weak pulse
•Rapid breathing
•swollen abdomin
Assessing catastrophic Bleed
“Blood on the floor”: obvious blood loss
“And 4 more”: internal bleeding cavities
