Battle of the Lord's. Flashcards
- Declare the Name of the Lord Over the Challenge
Verse: “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” – 1 Samuel 17:45
Declaration: “You come against me with [insert your challenge], but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, who is greater than anything I face.”
Focus:
Proclaim that you are not relying on your own strength.
Call on the Lord’s name, trusting His authority over the situation.
- Prophesy Victory Through Faith
Verse: “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you… that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” – 1 Samuel 17:46
Declaration: “This day, the Lord will deliver this challenge into my hands. The hardest part will be brought down, and through this victory, all will know that God is with me.”
Focus:
Declare that the Lord will give you victory.
Identify the “head” (hardest part) of the challenge and proclaim that it will fall.
- Surrender the Battle to the Lord
Verse: “Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” – 1 Samuel 17:47
Declaration: “This battle is the Lord’s, not mine. He will deliver the solution into my hands and bring His plan to pass.”
Focus:
Acknowledge that the battle belongs to God.
Release control and fully trust in His power and plan.
Quick Summary:
Declare the Name of the Lord: Your strength is in God, not yourself.
Prophesy Victory: Speak by faith that the hardest challenge will fall.
Surrender the Battle: Trust that the Lord will fight for you and bring you victory.
Use this strategy for challenges in any area of life, from school and work to personal growth and spiritual battles.
