What were Williams Tactics?
A
Fake retreat and getting his archers to fire arrows at the Saxon shield wall

How did Harold die?
A
He did get shot in the eye with an arrow but that didn’t kill him, shortly after that happened he was slaughtered to death by the Normans.

Why did William win?
A
Because after they killed Harold the remaining Saxons were downhearted and so stopped fighting efficiently and the Normans invaded London.

Why did it happen?
A
Edward the Confessor had died and had had no children so they were fighting over the heir to the throne.
