Moles (mol)
Resolution
The smallest detectable change in input
(like 1mm on a standard ruler)
Sensitivity
The ratio of output to input
(Like change in p.d when temp increases by 1 degree celcius)
Stability
The extent to which repeated measurements give the same result
Response time
The time interval between change in input and the corresponding output
Zero error
The output for an input of 0 is not 0
Noise
Variations (possibly random) superimposed on a signal
Calibration
Determining the relationship between output and the true input value
Accuracy
How close a measurement result is to the true value, the closer the value is the more accurate
Precision
How close the repeated values are to each other, the closer the values the more precise
