What is a scrum?
A restart after a foul in which the ball travels forward from the hand (either dropped or thrown forward).
What is a maul?
When a tackle attempt is made but both players remain standing. One or more of each players team joins in an pushes until the ball can be passed back. If it takes too long , a scrum is given by the ref.
What is a ruck?
When the man with the ball is tackled and the players fall on the ground.
The man who made the tackle must let go of the tackled player and the tackled player must release the ball immediately.
