Cava pairs well with
Mexican food such as red bean chili
Champagne pairs well with
anything that’s salty, fried or fishy. Can go with not just aperitif but with main course as well.
Cremant pairs well with
fried foods, soft cheeses and salty appetizers
Prosecco pairs well as an
aperitivo with antipasto, cure meats and almonds and main courses
Fresh Asian fare such as shrimp fresh rolls, sushi, Pad Thai and curries
consider extra dry or dry style w/ spicy Asian or Indian cuisine
Lambrusco pairs well with
everything from pizza to burgers
Pinot Gris works excellently with
white meats and seafood particularly in meals that include a fruit element such as lemons, oranges, peaches or apricots.
Sauvignon Blanc makes a wonderful choice with
herb-driven sauces over chicken, tofu, or fish dishes. matched with feta or chèvre, or paired with herb-driven asian flavors such as Thai or Vietnamese cuisine.
Muscadet
is perfect with seafood.
Albariño pairs exceptionally well with
white fish and meats as well as leafy green herbs. Try it with fish tacos.
Albarino meat pairing:
Lighter meats, fish, and seafood sing with Albariño. Try it with ceviche, seafood risotto, grilled (or fried) fish tacos, oysters, mussels, and clams.
Albarino cheese pairing:
Soft cheeses like burrata, or semi-hard cheeses such as manchego, gouda and salty feta will be killer alongside these fresh and bright wines.
Albarino Vegetable Pairing:
The grassy notes of Albariño play well with fresh green herbs, like salsa verde. Try Spanish tapas such as grilled padrón (or shishito) peppers, grilled vegetable dishes, caprese, or even caesar salad.
Picpoul pairs well with
fried appetizers as well as seafood from raw oysters and sushi to Mediterranean-themed fish dishes and fried calamari.
