Private Keys
A secret code that gives you access to your cryptocurrency. Never share it—it’s like the password to your bank account.
Exchange
Online platform that allows us to buy and sell digital currencies, or cryptocurrencies, for other assets. These assets can include other digital currencies or fiat money, like the US dollar.
Centralized Exchange
Centralized Exchange is a business that acts as an intermediary to facilitate transactions between two parties. (Like Coinbase) - Not Your Keys, Not Your Crypto.
Decentralized Exchange
Peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace that allows cryptocurrency buyers and sellers to transact directly with each other without the ned for a centralized intermediary.
Tokenomics
Refers to the study and analysis of the economic aspects of a cryptocurrency or blockchain project, with a particular focus on the design and distribution of its native digital tokens.
Market Cap
The total dollar market value of the company, calculated by taking the Circulating Supply x the price per unit.
Circulating Supply
How much of the tokens are tradable to the public at the current time.
Total Supply
How many total coins can be issued into the circulating supply.
FDV
What the market cap will be at the current price if all the coins were in circulation.
Dilution
When more coins are added to circulation.

Bullish/Bearish
Bullish is a positive sentiment, and bearish is negative sentiment and markers going down.
Wallet
A digital tool (software or hardware) that stores private and public keys, allowing users to send, receive, and store cryptocurrencies.
Public Key
A wallet address that people use to send you cryptocurrency, like a bank account number.
Token
A digital asset built on an existing blockchain
Altcoin
Any cryptocurrency that isn’t Bitcoin (e.g., Ethereal, Solana, Cardano.)
Smart Contract
Self-executing code on the blockchain that performs actions automatically when conditions are met.
Gas Fees
Transaction fees paid to miners or validators for processing transactions on a blockchain.
