ambiguous, uncertain
Equivocate
using ambiguous language so as to conceal the truth
Esoteric
obscure, known only by few
Ineffable
too great or extreme to be expressed in words
Magnanimous
very generous or forgiving, especially to one who is inferior
Obsequious
obedient or attentive to an excessive or servile degree
Pedant
someone who is obsessed with irrelevant minor details or rules
Pedestrian
Dull, ordinary
Pragmatic
Dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a practical rather than theoretical way
Quixotic
exceedingly idealistic; unrealistic and impractical

someone who acts obsequiously towards someone important in order to gain an advantage
