  • Tongue in the midline, adequate movement
  • No lesions
  • Tongue, gums, buccal mucosa are pink, moist and smooth
  • No bleeding
  • Smooth, white teeth, no dental carries

  • Soft palate and uvula rise when Pt says ‘ah’
  • Uvula is midline
  • No swelling, exudate or lesions
