A

. Call 999, ask for ambulance, must say cardiac arrest
. 30 chest compressions, 2 rescue breaths
. continue CPR
. once AED arrives follow instructions

A

shake them gently and shout in both ears

A

. use head tilt, chin lift or jaw thrust

. tilt head back to ensure nothing is blocking airway, if obstruction easily removed then remove it if not leave it

look listen and feel for normal breathing, hover cheek over mouth and look down chest, ignore agonal breathing
