A

A

What is the purpose behind the 3/5 comprmise?

A

The compromise was between the northern and southern delegates. The north didn’t want slaves votes to be counted at all while the south did. This gave the south a huge advantage because with the slaves, their population became bigger and gave them more political power.

It is the rule or option that people who have been detained can be justified.

It is the bill that states that people can be detained without a trial. It was later prohibited from the Federal Const. because it offered no fairness.
