Step right, left, right, and tap left (4 counts)
Step left, right, left, and tap right (4 counts)
ka’o
sway
Starting on left side, move hip toward right side, moving from left to right.
Repeat on right side.
hela
Point right foot out front at 45 degree angle with a slight sway.
Repeat on left side.
‘uwehe
Lift right foot up and then down, then lift heels and open knees at same time.
Repeat on left side.
lele’uwehe
Step to right and put all weight on right foot, bend knee, hela with left foot, bring foot back and uwehe.
Repeat on left side.
‘ami
Standing with feet slightly apart, rotate hips beginning on left side.
Count begins from rear.
Repeat on left side.
‘ami kūkū
Same as ‘ami only in counts of three and faster.
ku’i
4 counts: Stamp on right foot and at same time front ku’i, bringing left foot across right foot.
4 counts: Repeat on left side.
kāwelu
Turn left side, step forward with hip sways and step back with hip sways.
Repeat turning to the right.
kalākaua
kawelu, except repeat two times on each side.
hehi
Step in place on ball of foot, then bringing heel down to floor.
Repeat on left side.
ho’oki’i
Place right foot to right side, then place right foot in front, return it to place and uwehe.
Repeat on left side.
kewelina
Place right foot in front, then place foot to right side, then ku’i.
Repeat on left side.
homalie
Kaholo forward, 45 degree angle, aiha’a to floor and sway hips. Kaholo back to place as you rise.
Repeat on left side.
Pōlewa
Place right foot next to left foot with heel up, then point foot out to right angle, back to foot, back to angle, the. bring foot against left calf, then down to floor.
Repeat on left side.
