E at the end of a word never makes a sound.

Liaison Rules
Consonant at the end with a vowel coming up are each sounded. Ex: leS Enfants
S and X make a zzzz sound and F makes a V sound and D as T.
Elision Rules
A and E words in le, la, ce, je, me, te, se, de, ne, que is dropped when followed by a vowel or a silent H.
Nasal Sounds
Vowel + “n” or “m”. N or M is not pronounced. When used alone or followed by a different consonant N and M are included. If a vowel after it then pronounce both the consonant and vowel.
