concerto
It is a musical work that consists of one soloist accompanied by an orchestra
solo concerto
-It is almost the same as concerto. Instead of one soloist, there arr two independent groups of intruments.
-It alternates a small group of soloist called concertino woth larger ensemble called tutti o show a contrast in dynamics.
Concerto grosso
It is an instrumental form based on imitative polyphony. it starts with a subject or a meliodic idea that the composers repeat over and over, appearing in different starting points.
Fugue
It is one way for composers to create music that goes beyond the limitation or range of vocal compositions it is where a composer maximizes the instruments that can be included in a composition
Instrumental Composition
-Was born in Eisenach, Germany on march 21, 1685
-He was one of the musical geniuses who mastered the fugue, the organ, and the harpsichord
Johann Sebastian Bach
-Born in Halle, Germany on february 23, 1685
-One of his famous works is the “hallelujah chorus” from his oratorio “Messiah”
-he also composed more than 50 operas.
-he died in london 14 april 1759
