What is Concerto Grosso?
A
A piece of music made up of several groups of instruments contrasted. There is more than one soloist in a concerto grosso.

Solo Concerto:
A
A piece of music composed for a solo instrument accompanied by an orchestra. Usually the solo part is very difficult to allow the soloist to ‘show off’ their skills.
