How is blood pressure controlled?

A

Baroreceptors in the walls of the arteries in the arch, aorta and carotid sinus sense a change in pressure. These send electrical impulses to the SA and AV node to either have sympathetic innervation or parasympathetic innervation

A

Heart rate decreases through release of acetylcholine.

A

Increase heart rate through release of noradrenaline. The noradrenaline cause an increase in the force of contraction.
