Oh I am in an utmost dire situation my friend for you see, my purpose has been ripped away from me. My pride fell with my fortune as I have lost all hope to ever write again.

My muse! My meaning! My everything ripped away from me into the cold grasp of the beyond! Now I may never write again! Oh agony!
Oh my… I’m um. I’m very sorry to hear that.
Spare your pity, for death is a fearful thing. When one looks into the eyes of a world devoid of light and hope, one begins to spiral. Sort of like how I am now haha..(sob)
How did they die?
If you have tears, prepare to shed them now. T’was a calm summer’s eve. I has just arrived home from the market, I arrived home and called out “Oh muse, I have arrived from the market!” but there was no response. Only my expectant voice echo (echo echo echo)ing through the empty hallways. My muse was clearly no more.
Pardon me for interjecting, but how do you know for certain that they are dead?
I know because! Because.. because…wait how do I know?

There is no darkness but ignorance and it appears my torch..has been unlit!

Yes, of course. T’was a dark, stormy evening. Me and my muse were at home taking refuge from the storm. My muse and I were baking the most delicious of cakes but alas we had run out of sugar! I key ingredient in any baked delight! We knew not what to do before my muse spoke up.
And what did they say?
They said they would venture into the storm to ask our kind neighbors for some sugar and would be back momentarily. And with that the door slammed shut and I was alone in the kitchen.
What did you do next?
Well I was feeling a bit hungry and I knew I had the most fine cheeses waiting for me in the icebox. But as I reached the lactose luxury..a loud crack of thunder from outside ALMOST masking..a scream.
What next!?
I ran outside as fast as I could and there I saw them..my muse
Were they okay?
Yes, mostly unharmed actually. A car had driven by and ALMOST hit them. Luckily they were perfectly alright.
Oh.
When they reached my neighbors, they asked to borrow some sugar and got a small amount for our cake.
Well then what happened?
Well after we finished baking our cake, my muse turned to me and said “Tomorrow I will go out to the market with mother to buy some sugar” after of which I said that’s wonderful and returned to my cheesy delicacy..
Sorry, what was that last part again?
”..I returned to my cheesy delicacy..?”
No, no before that.
The part where my muse said they were going to buy some sugar?

My muse has left to go buy sugar!
Now I must simply..find them. Oh dear the wheel has come full circle.I thank you kind souls for your assistance. I at least now know that my muse is safe. Hopefully when I return to my abode, they will be there waiting. Alas, farewell.
